I got a letter about tax fraud saying I was gonna be arrested, crazy huh? That used to be part of my job! Seriously, don’t call the number starting with 1, it’s a total scam.

I usually just let calls ring out, but since I’m working from home, I had to pick up this time. They tried to give me a free women’s magazine and wanted my address. I didn’t bother with it and ended the call.

Here’s my two bits of advice to avoid getting caught up in phone scams these days. First off, if someone rings you out of the blue, don’t share any personal details - not even your name! And secondly, never return calls if you don’t know the number; it might be a trick to get you into something dodgy. Better to be safe than sorry, everyone!

this bloke called me asking for my full name, email, postcode, and address. he claimed he was from a women's magazine offering a free trial for a month, but then said it would cost me £13. after that, he wanted my bank details, which i obviously refused and ended the call. i can't ring this number back either, so it’s definitely dodgy. i might call again tomorrow just to see if i can dig up any more info, but honestly, don’t trust it at all.

Been getting calls non stop lately, as soon as I pick up they just hang up. So annoying!

This number, along with some other 020 ones, has been ringing me every day nonstop. They never leave a message or say anything if you don't pick up. I honestly just ignore all calls from numbers I don't know now, it's so frustrating. Another annoying one that keeps bugging me is 020 8175 3011.
