Some lady with an asian accent said she was from o2. When I asked why she was trying to con me, she got all offended and just hung up. Really strange and defo not o2.

Got a call from someone saying they were O2, claiming my SIM will be disabled in a couple days. They mentioned something about the Virgin Mobile merge. As an O2 user, I was suspicious straight away. I didn’t share any details, they said they just wanted my email, but still felt off. Checked online and it's a pretty common scam or phishing attempt. They even sent a text with a code to verify, but it didn’t look anything like the texts I usually get from O2. I blocked the number and reported it.
