Got a call saying my SIM was going to be cut off soon and that they’d be sending me a new one by post. Then they started asking for my personal info, so obviously it was a dodgy scam!

Got a call from this number earlier, the person said they were from “Telephonica” which was the first red flag since I’m actually with O2 here in the UK. They told me my SIM would stop working soon and said a new SIM was being sent out. Then they started asking for my personal info. I knew something was off since they didn’t even use my name, which O2 usually do. I just hung up straight away. Definitely don’t get caught out by this kind of scam!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, telling me my SIM wouldn’t work soon. Didn’t hang around, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
