Got a call this morning from 0208144 8676 claiming my IP address was hacked or something and that I should ring some other number, which I didn’t catch. Definitely feels like a scam to me. Since I’m a pensioner, this kind of thing could easily scare someone older, so please spread the word about these dodgy calls and warn people to be careful.

Someone left us a voicemail saying the exact same thing as ‘anonymous’. We definitely won't be calling them back either.

I just got a call from an unknown number saying that my internet was about to be cut off because my IP address had been hacked in various countries. They told me to call 2081448676 to get a new router for free and fix the problem. Definitely a scam, so I'm not going to bother calling them.
