I received a call this morning from 0208144 8676 claiming that my IP address had been compromised and that I needed to ring a number that, regrettably, didn't stick in my mind. Clearly, a scam. As a senior citizen, it could have easily set off alarm bells, so it’s crucial that we spread the word and alert others about these charlatans.

We too received a voicemail that mirrored what 'anonymous' mentioned. Just like them, we will NOT be calling back.

I received a voicemail from a suspicious number stating that my internet would be cut off because my IP address had apparently been accessed from various countries. They urged me to call 2081448676 to resolve the issue and supposedly receive a new router at no cost. It's clearly a scam, and there's no way I'm calling them back.
