Today I got a call from some bloke with a thick accent asking me about a car crash supposedly from the last couple of years. Thing is, I haven’t had any accidents at all. I told him he was just mucking me about and ended the call. But then he rang straight back, saying he’d keep ringing until it was done. I had to raise my voice and then finally hung up on him.

On Saturday 5th October at about 6.30pm, I got a call from this number. A bloke asked me if I was the person he mentioned, and I said yes. Then he told me I was supposed to have received a letter about a minor car crash. Thing is, I never got any letter and haven’t been involved in any car accidents for years. So I just ended the call there. He wasn’t pushy or anything, but I can’t help but question why he even rang. Also, he spoke with quite a strong accent.

Some bloke phoned me saying I was in a car crash two years back. I just told him to stop wasting my time, and he cheekily told me to go to hell! Haha, what a weirdo.

I just ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar. After seeing what others have said, I'm really pleased I didn’t pick up. They didn’t even bother to leave a voicemail.

Got a call at about 4.45 in the arvo on the 7th of Jan, 2019 from some guy claiming he was with a law firm about a car crash I’d supposedly been in (which I definitely hadn’t). I just told him he was barking up the wrong tree and told him to get lost.

I've had loads of calls about a motor accident from last February, all threatening me that my insurance will be cancelled if I don't talk to them more. It's been really stressful and quite aggressive. I've actually checked with my insurance company, and they confirmed they're not planning to cancel my cover at all.

Had this daft guy claiming to be from some Motor Insurance Claims Dept or whatever. He reckoned I "maybe" caused an accident ages back at a place I've moved out of ages ago. Told him if it was so urgent he should send a letter, not ring me up... then he started losing his temper! Needless to say, I ended the call. He rang back, this time insisting I stay on the phone so he could cancel my insurance or something daft like that. Couldn't help but laugh and hung up once more, then blocked the number. Honestly, can't see how anyone falls for this rubbish!
