Had a call about some loan with no interest or whatever, I just told them I wasn’t interested and hung up.

I told them straight up I wasn’t interested when they rang asking for the business owner, and asked them to stop calling. But now they’re ringing me multiple times a day, sometimes 3 or 4 times! It’s different people too, sometimes a bloke, other times a woman. Really getting annoying.

I got a call from a withheld number initially, then they rang again using this number after I said I wouldn’t speak to anyone hiding their number. The person, who sounded Asian, claimed to be with UK Energy Services, said they manage things for National Grid and that I’m paying too much. When I questioned how National Grid could share my details given GDPR rules, he just interrupted me. They rang me three times in total. I’ve now reported them to the Telephone Preference Service.

This is the third time in just a fortnight that some dodgy bloke with an Asian accent has rung me up, claiming to be from the 'UK Energy Council'. Then he switched to saying it was 'Energy Savers' or some other firm I couldn’t make out. Proper rude bloke. At one point, he shouted, ‘I’m trying to save you f##king money!!!!!!!' Told him straight to do one and he hung up. I'm sure he'll be back though.

I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away, then blocked the number right after. These kinds of calls have been coming non-stop for weeks now, always from different numbers. I keep blocking them but they just keep coming. Proper irritating.

Got a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent, she said she was calling on behalf of the UK Energy Council but her English was awful. You can tell it was one of those dodgy scams 'cause I could hear loads of noise in the background like a call centre buzzing with calls. When I told her to "F### O##", she just cut me off immediately. Finally found a simple way to shut these scammers up quick!

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent asking for the owner. I told him he’s off sick until the year’s end and asked if he wanted to drop a message or explain what it’s about so someone else might help. But he wouldn’t leave any details or say what it was regarding, then just hung up on me! We’re on the TPS list, so why do they keep bothering us? It’s all day, every day, nonstop sales calls about gas and electricity providers. Really annoying!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from the UK energy council and giving a website like [#]ofgem[###]. I told him straight up that Ofgem’s site says they never ring anyone and anyone pretending to be from there is just trying to scam you. He started calling me a psycho and kept being rude until I finally hung up. This kind of annoying call has been happening loads recently and they’re always pretty rude. Why is there no way to just block these nuisance calls for good?

Got a call today from some bloke with a thick accent, said he was from the national grid or something about energy. I was like "here we go again" and he actually told me to "F. Off", which felt really uncalled for, so I ended the call. Previously, they said they'd switch my electricity off, and I just said "do what you want". It's such a pain especially when you're busy running a business.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent asking to speak to the house owner. When I asked what it was about, he stopped and started with some small talk, asking how I was. I told him I was in a rush and to cut to the chase. He said he was from Direct Energy and could help lower our bills. I told him no thanks and asked them to take us off their calling list. But he kept pushing this “save you money” line. I asked for his name and warned I'd report him as a nuisance caller. He said his name was Gavin.

I keep getting calls from some aggressive guy from India, usually a couple times a week during work hours, often from a hidden number. He says he’s from the UK electricity board or something like that. This has been going on for about a year now, and it’s impossible to make it stop. I’m really worried that because my address is on our business site, they might show up at the office and cause trouble for me or my team.
