7 yearsThere's a fraudulent operation going on that involves Western Union for payments. They've requested a preliminary deposit of £300.Western Union9 yearsI received a call from a gentleman named Paul Simon, who had a distinctly Indian accent, representing PPI Claim Line. I hadn’t reached out to him at all. He claimed that there was a cheque waiting for me from a building society where I once held a mortgage, although in reality, I never engaged in any PPI policy and he mentioned a joint account, yet the cheque was solely in my name! After seeing a similar comment, I decided not to return his call.Paul SimonPPI Claim LinePPI9 yearsI received a call that raised some red flags, supposedly from the City County Court in London, specifically from their Despatch Team. An Indian gentleman on the line was eager to inform me about a claim I supposedly have, purportedly worth £3,750, which they could send via courier today without me lifting a finger. Sounds rather enticing, doesn't it? However, it turns out there's a catch. They expect me to pop down to my nearest Western Union to fill out a form-no form number provided, mind you-after which I would need to cough up £300 to receive a deposit receipt. Once I've got that receipt in hand, I’m supposed to ring them back to confirm, and only then will they dispatch the cheque. Quite the scheme, eh?City County CourtLondonDespatch TeamWestern UnionSubmit Your Own Report (020 8144 4773)
