So my mate got a call the other day, someone claiming she won the lottery even though she never actually bought a ticket or anything. Seems like a proper scam if you ask me.

Beware this one! It’s a scam pretending to be from the postcode lottery or something. Just had a call from 07990292256, definitely dodgy. Don’t fall for it.

My dad, who’s getting on with age, got a letter from something called the People’s Postcode Lottery claiming he’d won £425,000. Thing is, he never even buys lottery tickets. Then some bloke named Kieran West asked for money to release the prize. What a vile con!

Tried calling 02081444283 and 07438158866 but no one picked up either. The last one, 02081337599, did answer but as soon as I started asking for info like their location and details, they just cut the call. Strange behaviour.

Honestly, the whole postcode system seems so unfair and like a total scam sometimes. It just feels like people get lucky or unlucky based on where they live, which definitely doesn’t seem right.

Just like a few others here have said, my dad-in-law, who’s quite old, got a letter that looked really dodgy. It was printed on really cheap paper and claimed he won £425,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery if he rang Mr Kieran West on 07438158866. I had a look on the official People’s Postcode Lottery website and they have a totally different address and phone number. The letter itself was full of mistakes and it’s ridiculous to say you need to pay a processing fee to get your winnings. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

Got a letter from People Postcode telling me to ring this number 02081444283. When I did call, I thought I'd give the bloke some tips if he wants folks to pay a "processing fee": for starters, he should try using nicer paper and switch to first class postage. Plus, cleaning up the grammar and spelling might stop him coming across as such a dodgy scammer. Honestly, I reckon loads of people ought to call him a few times daily and tell him what a bad move this all is.

Got a letter today, I'm from Penzance. Something about it didn't feel right, so I decided to look up the phone numbers on it straight away. Turns out they're all linked to a scam. The numbers were 02081337599, 02081444283 and 07438158866. It mentioned a Kieran West from Moore Financial Group, based at 4 London Wall Buildings, London EC2M 5NT. Watch out for this!

I never got a call from KIERAN WEST, just a letter telling me I'd won £425,000. I was thrilled for a few moments, but pretty quickly realised it was a scam. Older folks who aren't used to this kind of trickery might end up falling for it though. 30/09/20

Got a letter saying I’d won £425,000 in some postcode lottery. It was printed on really cheap paper and looked nothing like a proper official letter. The contact was Kieran West, who supposedly works as a service manager at Moore Financial Group, 4 London Wall Building, London, EC2M 5NT. The number they gave was 020 8144 4283 or 07438 158866. Honestly, don’t be fooled by this scam!

Right from the start, I could tell something fishy was going on, but I still had a little doubt nagging me. The way the letter was written was a massive red flag though. Seriously, don't let yourself get caught up in this. I just can't understand how they sleep at night. I’m keeping them in my prayers and hoping they get some kind of wake-up call. Always trying to stay positive.

Got a letter saying I've won the People's Postcode Lottery, but I don't even take part in that! The note had a phone number to call some bloke named Kieran West. Bet he's after my bank info or something dodgy like that. Hope no one gets caught out by this trick. Shame though, £425,000 would definitely come in handy. I'd probably spend it on a big night out and maybe nick a Rolls Royce for a laugh!

My mum, who’s 96, got this letter saying she’d won loads of cash from some postcode lottery and to call a number to get the money. Thing is, she’s never even played the lottery, so she thought it was fishy and told me about it. I’m planning to hand the letter over to the Gwent Police for them to check out.

Got a letter claiming to be from the Postcode Lottery about a big prize, full of that usual nonsense. Of course, at the end they ask for your bank info. Definitely just chuck it straight in the bin if you get one. Funny thing is, there was a mobile number in it to ring some 'payment services manager' called Mr Richard Green! That name sounded so familiar, then I remembered him from Robin Hood on TV, where he was the main actor! Strange coincidence or just another trick, who knows.
