I received a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to represent the Ministry of Justice, stating that I was eligible for a refund of bank charges with Barclays. They insisted on me sending the funds via Moneygram to a local Post Office. To top it off, they were quite keen on acquiring my bank details. After doing a bit of digging, I found a cautionary notice in the MOJ directory about this very scam. Needless to say, I refrained from sharing any personal information with them.
