Smart Meters and Billing Issues I must say, every time I reach out to customer service, the representatives are incredibly helpful and ever so courteous. I had a bit of a tête-à-tête regarding an unforeseen gas bill that appeared out of nowhere after my smart gas meter decided to spring back to life, having been dormant for nearly two years while I dutifully submitted manual readings each month. It seems a remote upgrade might have sorted that little issue out. Also, I’d been missing my monthly electricity bills, and it appears that a brief glitch with the smart meter could be the culprit-fingers crossed that’s now been rectified, so I can get back to my regular statements without fail. Vera handled my worries splendidly. It was a breath of fresh air conversing with Mark, an actual human being, who addressed my questions with warmth and competence. Overall, I’ve been quite happy with Octopus and have faith in them as an innovative energy provider. I'm currently on standby for an engineer to ring me up to sort out the remote connection for my newly fitted smart meter. I'm optimistic it’ll all be sorted shortly!

Smart Gas Meter Woes I've been having quite the saga with my new gas smart meter for the past month since it was fitted. It’s been out of action, leaving me in a right pickle. Fortunately, Burls was the first to dive into the issue and actually began to get it sorted out properly. Everyone else just seemed to throw their hands up and suggested I 'wait and see', as if it would suddenly spring to life on its own! She also helped sort out my in-home display, which was a bit of a nightmare too. Massive thanks to her!

Currently, the circumstances for electricity providers and their customers are rather challenging. Fortunately, I managed to refresh my contract and even switch over a second supply from a different provider. It genuinely seemed as though they valued my business and were eager to keep me on board.

No Fuss At All Back in 2021, I signed a four year deal for our business's electricity, which turned out to be really lucky given how much prices shot up later. We didn’t have to stress about our energy bills one bit. With the contract ending in September 2024, Bionic reached out in November 2023 letting me know they’d soon begin looking for the best renewal offers. I appreciate how they handle this part for me, takes the headache off my plate. Top-notch service all round!
