I received a call from a chap who claimed to be representing a business, wanting to discuss some matters about an OOR BT line. When I mentioned that I wasn't keen on the conversation, he grew rather irked and kept insisting, “Why aren’t you interested?” in a rather pronounced Asian accent. Every time I attempted to explain my position, he talked right over me, showing a complete lack of manners. It was quite infuriating, to be honest. I had to remind him that we record our calls and that I would be taking this further-before he swiftly hung up on me like a fool.

I received a call today from a number claiming that I had consented to a payment of £59.99 for a nuisance call blocking service a whopping 48 days ago. I was taken aback, as I couldn't recall ever having agreed to such a thing. The caller rather cheekily remarked, "It's been quite some time, hasn't it?" He then went on to assert that I had shared my card details with him, reciting the initial four digits of my card and demanding I verify the rest. No way, mate! After he handed me over to his 'supervisor', she had the audacity to suggest that I must prefer throwing away £59.99 rather than enjoying their attractive offer. To top it all off, she claimed the payment had already been deducted from my account-utter madness! I reached out to my bank, RBS, and they confirmed that the digits he provided are generic and could belong to any card. So, take heed, folks! The only reason I picked up was that it was a London number.

I had the misfortune of receiving a call from some bloke who rudely told me to "sod off" when I mentioned that the business owner wasn't in. Such a delightful manner to address a lady! It’s quite amusing really, considering he was the one being rather uncouth first!

Received a rather curious phone call today, on the 31st of March 2015, at precisely 1:15 PM. The conversation kicked off with, "Could I have a word with the owner of the business, please?" To which I replied, "You're speaking to them." Then the chap introduced himself as Raj and went on about how he could slash my business phone rental down to an astonishing £9.99 a month.
