I ended the conversation rather abruptly, as it felt more like a scam or a marketing ploy than anything legitimate.

Some bloke rang asking to speak to the person who owns the business. I asked what it was about, he mentioned our BT line, said I wasn’t interested. Then he kept pestering me with “why you no interested?” in a really strong Asian accent. When I tried explaining, he just talked over me. Proper rude, I told him to be quiet and listen as we record calls and send them to the right ombudsman. He didn’t wait around, just hung up. What an idiot.

Got a call from this number today, claiming I had agreed 48 days ago to pay £59.99 for some service to block nuisance calls. I told them I had no recollection of any such thing, but the guy just brushed it off saying it was a while ago. Then he started to say I’d given my card details, even reading out the first 4 digits and wanted me to confirm the rest - no chance! After he passed me to his so-called supervisor, she kept pushing that I was just throwing away £59.99 instead of taking their “great deal.” She even insisted the money had already been taken from my account - total rubbish! Rang up my bank (RBS) and they said all cards start with those numbers he mentioned. So heads up, this might be a scam. I only picked up because it was a London number, but definitely don’t trust it!

So this bloke rings up and when I say the boss isn’t in, he just tells me to f**k off! Not exactly the politest bloke, especially considering I was the one who answered first. Very nice way to treat a lady, yeah right!

I received a silent call from 0208 1440510. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a lengthy ringing before a voicemail from a lady with a foreign accent instructed me to leave a message. It seems rather cheeky that they keep ringing but can't be bothered to actually pick up when someone answers!

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my account. He then started asking how old I was, and I gave him the wrong number on purpose. Next thing, he asks if I'm a virgin! At first I thought I didn’t hear right so I asked him to repeat himself, and yep, that’s exactly what he asked. I hung up straight away after. The phone rang again less than half a minute later but I just ignored it.

Got a ring from this number earlier. The bloke keeps ringing asking for the boss and then tries pushing Tellacom on me. I try to be polite and say no cheers, but he gets all annoyed.
