I got an email with an invoice for something I never bought, asking me to pay £289.99 through PayPal and to call a number if I want to cancel. This seems really dodgy to me!

This is definitely a scam! They called saying there was a charge of £289.99 on my PayPal account. I double-checked my bank and it turned out to be a fraud. Stay safe, people!

Some absolute lowlife pretended to be from Santander's main office and tried conning my elderly mum out of £50,000. Such a nasty piece of work. Hope the bloody git gets what’s coming to him.

Absolute con artist who tried ripping off my elderly mum for £50,000. Said they were calling from Santander’s main office. Honestly, I hope the idiot gets whats coming to them.

I got a call from someone claiming they were from my bank but it was definitely a scam. They kept asking loads of questions that obviously they should already have the answers to, saying they needed to verify my identity. They then told me to call them back on this number, but it’s not a number connected to any bank I know.

This number pretends to be Lloyds Bank but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t believe it’s really from the bank.

Got a call from a number that looked almost the same as those annoying car crash alerts. Didn’t pick up and just blocked it straight away. Probably best to ignore.
