I picked up the call only to have them hang up straight away. It strikes me as a rather dodgy auto-dialler, probably just checking if my number is active before handing it over to spammy PPI firms or the like.

Got a call from a Leanne claiming to be from Sky ??. She said she heard I was in some sort of accident. I told her no way and asked where she even got that idea from. Then she asked when the accident took place. I repeated I wasn’t in any accident and again asked for her source. Next thing, she just hung up! No shock there. Tried calling the number back and it wouldn’t connect. Definitely block if you get this call.

Honestly, I couldn’t be bothered! I never pick up calls from strange numbers but these lot just kept at it! Every time I hung up, they called back - a total of 4 times! It’s because of idiots like these that I just don’t bother answering at all, and seeing as most of these calls are just pointless hassle and no emergency, I’m glad I just blocked the number.
