They called asking if I was interested in purchasing services connected to a domain name I had recently acquired.

The caller wanted to know my name and if I'd purchased a domain. When I asked what they meant, the call just dropped. For the past two days, I've been getting non-stop calls from this number, plus others from the Philippines and Indianapolis. I've blocked them all - watch out!

Got a voicemail but it was cut off at the start, only caught the bit about 'legal action'. Figured it was probably dodgy, but rang back out of curiosity. Shocked it connected and a bloke answered saying he was from HMRC and mentioned I owed tax. I threw a few questions at him and then he just hung up on me! Weird how many different companies this person supposedly works for, judging by what others have said.
