Got calls from this number with recorded messages claiming to be from HMRC about a warrant. Last week, a different number 02081444178 rang up threatening arrest and asking if my elderly dad had a solicitor. When he said he’d get one at court, they just hung up. Looks like a scam to me, definitely don’t share any personal info with them.

Got a call from a robotic woman saying she was from HMRC and that there was a warrant for my arrest. My missus had a couple of calls like that a few days back. They told me to call back on 0208 123 2420. They weren’t very clever, reading the callback number so fast it was tricky to jot it down. Luckily, I was at my desk when it happened. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud.
