this saturday morning i got a call from someone named christopher wine saying he was from hrmc. he told me they were about to put an arrest warrant out for me unless i paid some sort of money. he even said i should stay home and wait. felt a bit off to me.

I got an automated call claiming I owed back taxes and needed to act quickly. The message asked me to ring them back at this number.

some guy with an asian accent called up my elderly folks saying they hadn’t sorted their income tax and threatened to send a writ. he even gave a cid number or something. it really freaked my mum out, proper nasty scammers.

Got a call from 02081232470, they started threatening me saying I hadn’t paid my taxes and that the police would be at my door in 45 minutes to arrest me. I quickly realised it was just a scam call, so no need to panic.

I picked up the phone and imediately hung up, but reading other comments, it seems like i dodged a whole lot of rubbish about owing income tax. Seriously, whoever’s calling, go outside and get some fresh air instead of bothering people with these calls!

I got a robo call telling me there was some kind of writ out for not paying my income tax. It was a recorded message and sounded pretty official, but I’m sure it’s just a scam.
