This number rang me and when I picked up, it was silent for a bit before a recorded message popped up saying something like "please stay on the line while we connect you to an agent." Then suddenly, the call just dropped. Later, I rang the number myself and all I could hear was typing noises, like someone messing about with a keyboard. Luckily, I've got caller ID, so if it rings again, I'll be ready for it.

Someone called asking for Yvonne. I knew straight away it was one of those cold calls since no one here goes by that name. Plus, it's a fresh new landline and I’m already on the TPS list. Still, some bloke from England keeps ringing me up. I'm getting really fed up with these constant calls. Why do businesses get away with pestering people for no good reason? There honestly should be stricter laws to block all this nonsense.

Since last month this number keeps ringin my landline loads. No clue who it is, but it’s proper annoying because every single time I pick up, the caller just hangs up straight away. Feels like a waste of time and makes me annoyed for answering. Same thing happened again recently. On 23rd October, it rang twice back to back, like at 12:13 and 12:14. Then just yesterday it buzzed again at 16:43 and once more hung up the moment I said hello. After each call, I tried dialing 1471 to see who it was but the number’s not familiar at all. Have you tried calling it to check who’s behind these calls? I don’t wanna pay for that myself, and I don’t think we should have to either. I just want the constant calls to stop. Also, someone told me there’s this service that deals with nuisance calls - it’s called the Telephone Preference Service. If you wanna get in touch with them, it’s best to look up their number or email online or ask the operator.
