Just moments ago, I answered the call, but the line went dead as soon as I picked it up. I suspect it's yet another set of con artists using a fresh number. Typical, isn’t it?

Received three calls earlier today. I answered the first one but was told I would be put through to someone else, and then the line went silent.

Who on earth could this be? It's a right mystery! No one's chipping in. Surely someone out there must know who these individuals are or at least what they're about. Let's put a name to the faces and hold them accountable!

We received a pre-recorded message that started with, "Thank you for your call, you are now being transferred." After that, we decided to end the call.

I received a call from this number but they didn’t bother to leave a message. Strangely enough, it rang three times without anyone saying a word, and the same thing happened with a couple of other numbers earlier. Quite odd, isn’t it?

Received a call from this number earlier, and to my surprise, they had my name and even my address! They wanted to confirm if I still resided there. I firmly declined to disclose any personal information to a stranger on the phone, and they responded with a simple "alright" before hanging up. Quite the unnerving experience, I must say!

I’ve just received a call from the number mentioned above. It’s really quite outrageous how these sorts of calls can keep bothering people. Can someone please put a stop to this? Much appreciated! Cheers, Christina Campbell.

I've noticed this number ringing my phone a handful of times in the past few days. They don’t seem to pick up when I answer, and curiously, they never bother leaving a voicemail either. Quite puzzling, really!

I received a rather curious call from a firm named "Reactiv Media," who mentioned that I might be entitled to a PPI claim dating back nearly nine years. Interestingly, it appears they've attracted a bit of attention from the "Direct Marketing Commission" back in April 2012, and there have been some grumblings to the Telephone Preference Service as well. If you’ve got a spare moment, I’d suggest getting in touch with these organisations and lodging a complaint. It could be worth your while!

I just had a call from this number a moment ago. As soon as I picked up, there was nothing but silence, followed by a pre-recorded voice thanking me for my patience and letting me know I was being connected to an agent. Then, the line went dead. Normally, I wouldn't entertain calls from unidentified numbers, but I was anticipating a call from someone. I've now put this number on my automatic rejection list.

Hello there! This number has been getting in touch with my partner repeatedly. Each time he picks up, they inquire about a Mr Hughes, who, I must say, is not residing here. He’s informed them there’s no Mr Hughes around, yet they simply hang up and give another ring later on. This has been an ongoing nuisance for roughly a week now!

I've been inundated with calls from these folks, incessantly claiming that I owe them money for a loan I never took out. It's utterly absurd! They are extremely pushy and rather impolite, insisting that they have vital info for me. One of them even mentioned the call being recorded, which really sets my teeth on edge. In the end, I told them to clear off - I'd had more than enough of their nonsense!

Honestly, these incessant calls are driving me up the wall! Do they not take a hint? It's about time they got the message - I'm done with it!

I recently received a call from this number, and I must say, it was quite an intriguing encounter. A very assertive lady introduced herself as Abby from the Consumer Helpline. Not only did she already have my postcode, but she also requested my house number. After that, she mentioned that I had some funds from back in 2009 that were owed to me and inquired about any credit accounts I might have had to verify my identity. Feeling wary, I claimed I had never taken out any credit. She was taken aback, insisting, "Surely, you've had something, perhaps for a vehicle or items for your home?" When I reiterated that I had nothing, she abruptly said goodbye and ended the call.

I keep receiving calls from this number, and it tends to happen while I'm at the office. Today, I thought I’d return the call. I got an answerphone message informing me I had reached Discover Finance and that their offices were currently closed. They shared their operating hours, which are Monday to Thursday until 8pm. Mind you, I called at 12.04 in the afternoon. Is there a way to put an end to these calls? It feels like they’ve contacted me countless times!

I received a call from the number 02081029518, but I chose not to pick it up since it wasn't saved in my contacts and isn’t a typical 0208 number that I recognise.

Blimey, what an absolute nightmare! The chap I spoke to was downright obnoxious. He just wouldn't stop shouting when I inquired about his identity. I even requested to be taken off their call list, but he kept on bellowing about some cash I’m supposedly owed from 2009, all the while exclaiming, "What’s your issue? I’m offering you money back, why are you refusing it?" His tone was incredibly hostile, complete with a thick Manchester accent. I'm left wondering how we can shut these clowns down for good. Seriously, whatever you do, don’t engage if they ring you!

I've received a couple of calls from this number, claiming that I was due some money from way back in 2009. When I requested them to hang on a moment so I could record the call, they promptly cut me off. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Typically, I refrain from picking up calls from unfamiliar numbers, but I grew rather tired of the relentless calls from this particular one. All I was met with was a beeping sound, prompting me to hang up. It's quite intriguing to find that others have faced the same hassle as I have.

I keep getting incessant calls from this number. I decided to ring them back, only to find out it’s supposedly a finance firm. Since I don’t have any outstanding debts, it’s evident this is some sort of scam.

I rang this number after they’d been persistently hounding me for the last couple of days. When I inquired about their identity, they requested my phone number - naturally, I had called from a different line and concealed my number! I insisted on knowing who they were before divulging any details, to which they arrogantly responded, “I’ve just informed you.” Well, I couldn’t tolerate that kind of attitude, so I promptly ended the call. They've since been added to my block list - absolute numpties!

I’m absolutely at my wits’ end with these incessant calls. It’s a daily nuisance, and I wish someone would put an end to it. I’m completely fed up with the whole situation!

Received a pair of calls from these chaps earlier today, claiming I've got some overpayments waiting for me. They even had my address, though it was a tad outdated by about four years! They were prattling on about which loans I might have had, mentioning names like HSBC and Blackhorse, among others. I let them ramble on for a bit, without revealing a thing on my end. In the end, they mentioned they’d ring me back once they’ve dug up more info. We'll see!

I recently received a phone call from this number, and the individual on the line was quite hostile, insisting on obtaining my bank information. What a scammer! It's best to stand your ground and simply tell them to jog on!

I received an unexpected phone call where the initial caller inquired about a loan I had taken out five years back. They then switched me over to another individual, which raised my suspicions. Sensing something was amiss, I promptly hung up.

Absolutely a dodgy operation; steer clear! They've got the audacity to claim I've overpaid back in 2009! When I probed for specifics, all I got was some vague mention of a financial agreement. I was only 17 at the time and had no financial commitments to speak of! Whatever you do, don’t give them any banking information-they’re just after your details!

Initially, I suspected this might be a rather suspicious number, so I decided to pick up the call. However, there was no one on the line. It was eerily silent for a moment before the call just cut off. It seems like it only responds once it detects a voice. Quite peculiar, really!

I've switched up the ringtone on my phone, you see, so if I hear a chime that doesn't sound familiar, I tend not to pick up. Lately, I've been bombarded with six or seven nuisance calls every single day and night. Believe it or not, about a year ago, I was involved in a car accident-totally not my fault, mind you! Thankfully, I came out unscathed, and my insurance sorted out the compensation and got me a new motor. It's really quite unsettling how these strange callers just won't take the hint and stop pestering me!

I spotted a missed call on my phone, so I decided to return it, thinking it was a local call. When I got through, they said they'd get back to me. This time, the number was 01422373222. Seems like yet another PPI firm trying to get in touch.

I received a call, and upon picking it up, I was informed that I was being put through to an agent, only for the line to suddenly cut off. Quite frustrating!

You'll be connected to an agent shortly - my suggestion? Tag it as a spam number! When you pick up, tie them up in knots - pretend you're a candidate for the Russian presidency and that you’re tracking the call. Have a laugh and keep them going!

I regretfully picked up the phone for this call. They greeted me by name and claimed it was in connection with a loan overpayment. I quickly informed them that I don't have any loans. The caller then insisted I must have taken one out within the past eleven years. When I pressed her for details on this supposed loan, she was completely stumped. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this bothersome caller!

I picked up the phone and was met with a bloke whose accent was so thick I could barely make it out. He was after someone with a name that sounded like a tongue twister. I informed him it wasn’t me, and he started to doubt his pronunciation, wanting to know my name instead. When I inquired about his, he was quite evasive and wouldn’t share it. I’ve now added the number to my blocked list!
