When I pressed him for the name of the company, he merely repeated his initial statement, which was quite vague and unidentifiable. His next question? "Do you have any damp issues in your home?" To which I countered, "Who are you exactly?" His response was baffling, asking if I didn’t live in a house! How strange, isn't it? It was evident to me that this was simply a dodgy attempt to gather information. When I inquired about the name of the company he was supposedly working for, he simply repeated the same vague title, which, frankly, sounded fishy and generic. He then proceeded to ask if I was experiencing any dampness in my home. I countered with another question-“Who exactly are you?”-to which he answered rather cheekily, “Don’t you reside in a house?” It was all incredibly bizarre and reeked of a scam aimed at extracting information.
