Back on October 2nd, 2017, I got a call from a woman’s voice that sounded just like one of those automated messages you hear on trains. She claimed there was a "lawsuit against me from HM Revenue & Customs" and kept mentioning how "urgent" and "serious" the matter was. She urged me to ring her back quickly to avoid any legal trouble. Before hanging up, she oddly wished me a "bless’d day." I twigged pretty quick that it was a scam, but I imagine some older folks might genuinely freak out over something like that. I wonder if they rake in much cash if someone ends up calling that number?

Bloody hell, some dodgy lot pretending to be HMRC keep ringing loads of different numbers - feels like a proper scam. The phone company really should be busted and slapped with a massive fine, like 10 billion quid by Ofcom or something. Don't get how this hasn't been sorted out yet.
