I received a phone call from a gentleman speaking in an Indian accent, asserting he was representing EE. He was attempting to entice me with a cash-back refund for an alleged overpayment. It seems quite likely this was a fraudulent scheme, particularly as I don't even use EE!

I saw a missed call from this number on my phone but wasn’t able to pick up.

Just got a ring from this number and it sounded a bit dodgy, like a foreign call with a bit of a lag. The person on the line had an Asian accent and claimed to be from BT. As far as I know, BT don’t cold call people out of the blue, so I reckon it’s a scam.

Got a call from 02080720023 saying they could cut down my mobile bill. First, they said they were from EE, but that’s not who I’m with. When I told them that, they started arguing about who my provider was. After a bit, they just hung up on me. I try to waste as much of their time as I can to hopefully stop the next person falling for it.
