It felt like I was on the line with some sort of call centre. The person on the other end was impersonating O2, and I have a strong suspicion he was attempting to pull a fast one on me.

They rang once and just dropped the call right away. Then the next time, when I answered with a "hello," no one said anything. After a bit, I heard a delayed "hello" from the other end. Pretty sure it was a call centre doing this, so I'm planning to block the number since they'll probably try ringing again.

Got a call on 27th April 2023 from an unknown number, seems like it might be a spammer.

Somebody rang me saying they were from O2 and trying to push a product on me. I told them I’m not an O2 customer and asked what name they had linked to my number. They claimed they didn't have any name, just the phone number, because apparently they’re part of some sales team. Sounds like total nonsense to me. Don’t bother with them!

I got a call saying it was O2 but they must be joking, they were trying to get me to pay less every month. I just signed up for a year deal that’s got a cheaper rate for the first six months. Now they wanna drop the price again after only a couple months? Nah, don’t think so mate, I’m not having any of that.
