Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, trying to give me a deal on my plan. I asked how long was left on my contract since I knew I wasn’t actually tied in, and she said a year. Then she said she’d send over a couple of texts to ‘confirm’ things. That’s when I got suspicious and just ended the call - felt like a total scam.

She kept insisting she was from the “EE telecom department.” I told her, “If that’s the case, then you’d know I just ended my contract with you.” Then she just cut off the call.
