This is the second call I've had this week from a woman speaking with a foreign accent, claiming to be with the Energy Company Obligation. From what I found out, it's actually a government programme where energy firms have to assist with lowering heating bills. Our supplier wouldn’t ring us up, especially not so late at 6.45pm. I reckon the use of the word 'obligation' makes folks more likely to fall for it. Best just to block that number.
