Got a call just now claiming I agreed to some sponsorship. I told them I've dealt with these dodgy calls before and to stop ringing me. Watch out, folks!

Its just another scam, they keep calling about kids safety books but never do anything about it. Why cant anyone stop these calls? Total waste of time.

How peculiar! I received a call from someone claiming I'd registered back in March for a sponsored book for schools. Entirely baffling, as I've not had any conversations or given consent for any sort of sponsorship related to an advertisement. I mentioned to the caller that I hadn’t seen any emails regarding this nor could I recall any chat about it at all, to which she responded with a rather audacious demand of £149! Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to look up this number and came across similar remarks from others. It seems this is a flagrant scam!

Every year without fail, I receive a call from them and, without fail, I inform them that I haven’t funded any safety pamphlet for schools. Yet, annually, they promise to investigate the issue! It's clearly a con, folks!

I received a rather peculiar call earlier today concerning some anti-bullying literature meant for educational institutions. They claimed to have reached out to me back in February (which is quite untrue) and then continued to discuss matters as if I had already consented to coughing up £199 for these non-existent booklets. They even went on about all the gratifying correspondence I’d supposedly receive in return. The entire approach was rather insidious, presenting themselves as though they were a charitable organisation. I decided to cut the conversation short.

Got these annoying calls constantly coming through on the office landline, all from some kind of auto dialler. Tried everything to block them but nothing works. Honestly, the government should just ban telemarketing calls altogether, they’re just a massive irritation and do no good at all. Really hope we see some proper reform soon, it’s beyond frustrating!

there’s a bunch of kids yelling in the background, had no idea where they got our number from, probably autotrader or something. if you don’t know the number, best not to pick up. if it’s really urgent, they’ll leave you a voicemail anyway.

weve gotten a couple calls from them already but whenever we try to ring back, the line just cuts off. today they called again and i finally got someone on the phone who said our company sponsored safety books for kids. but when i asked for their website, the link they gave me was fake and didnt work at all. total con job, and its really upsetting that they’d use kids as an excuse to scam people out of cash. dont fall for them - they’re just taking advantage and it’s pathetic!

this number kept ringing me lots over the past few months, probably around 30 times. i never picked up tho. eventually when I did, they said I owed £180 for some sponsorship deal i supposedly agreed to, but I had no idea about any of it. then they said they'd connect me to the complaints team but ended the call out of nowhere! total scam for sure!

Got a call saying I'd sponsored some school books with my company info on them and they needed to confirm where to send them. When I asked for proof, the person on the phone got really rude because I wouldn’t agree to pay £30 less by giving my debit card details over the phone. I’ve never received any paperwork or agreed to anything like this. Feels like a total scam to me.

Every time my coworker picked up, they’d just hang up straight away. I finally got through and when I said I didn’t know anything about the textbook or remember any call from December, they just ended the call. Definitely dodgy.

This is a total rip off. They claimed to be from child protection and said I agreed to fund some d### awareness books for local schools. Then they asked me to fork out £180. I told them I never said yes to anything like that and never had a call before. They said they’d listen to the call recording and then just hung up. Complete scammers.

Fraudulent! They assert that you’ve financed a safety guide for educational institutions.

Received a call earlier today at my workplace from someone using my name. They mentioned that 'the campaign had gone exceptionally well' and enquired about which school I wanted the booklets to be dispatched to. When I pressed for more details, they just cut the line. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

This isnt really a scam, more like a waste of time. They get money to ring folks with some offer but never actually do anything. It’s like hiring someone to deliver flyers but they just chuck them in the bin. The only one losing out is whoever paid them. Would be good to have ‘nuisance’ added to the categories here, cheers.

I’ve had a couple of calls from this number, with the caller claiming we’d chatted last year. I promptly called the lady out as a scammer, to which she insisted they weren’t trying to deceive anyone. However, I wasn’t interested in hearing more and hung up right away. Just a word of caution - steer clear of these types of calls!

Received a call where the person mentioned our names-it definitely felt like a call centre. They claimed to be from SGF. However, when I inquired about who exactly SGF was, they abruptly hung up. Quite odd, really!

This was definitely a dodgy call. They were really cheeky, claiming we’d already promised to pay for some books for the nearby school. Don’t give them any info, it’s a scam for sure.

Got a call about some children’s safety campaign, said I’d supposedly agreed to cough up £169 for 30 kids' books for the local school. I never agreed to anything! They were pushing to get my bank info too, which felt super dodgy.

This whole so-called children's safety campaign is totally bogus. Don't believe a word of it, it's just a scam!

It's merely a ploy to get you to cough up your cash; there's no doubt it's a complete con.

A woman rang my business line expressing gratitude for sponsoring a safety booklet intended for schools. She asked me which school I wished the books to be sent to and how I preferred my business name to be displayed on the cover. At the conclusion of our conversation, she mentioned that I would receive an invoice for £189. I informed her that I had no interest in having my name featured in any booklet and that I had not contributed to any safety initiative. Shortly after, she abruptly ended the call. When I attempted to ring the number back, I was met with an unusual tone, followed by a message stating that 'the other party has disconnected the line.'

A couple of months back, they got in touch about some booklets for schools. When I asked about the first call, they just ended the call straight away. I've had two calls this week, and I've paid for a booklet that never showed up. Totally a scam, so wouldn’t bother picking up.
