Got one of those bogus calls claiming to be from HMRC about tax fraud. They said if you don’t press 1 you’ll be arrested - like a serious government agency would sound so rude on a random call! Definitely a scam. Blocked them straight away.

This was a proper scam call, but I had a laugh messing about with the bloke. I kept him going for about half an hour, acting all worried like I might actually fall for it. He kept pushing me to put the phone on speaker and drive around to grab £4000. Honestly, who’d be daft enough to take that seriously? Got tired and ended the chat by telling him he’s nothing but a crook.

I got a call from some automated voice saying it was HM Revenue. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away! It’s not the first time either, but the last time it was from Wales, now it’s a London number! Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
