I got calls from a number ending in 775 which seemed a bit iffy, but there’s another one quite close, ending in 755, that’s fine. I missed some calls from the 755 number over the past few days, but when I finally picked up today, it was a market research firm doing a survey for my local Housing Association about the gardening services. So yeah, 775 could be dodgy, but 755 seems alright.

Didn’t pick up cause sounded fishy. Checked online and apparently it’s an Amazon Prime scam about missed payments or something. Better safe than sorry!

I picked up the call, but they hung up on me straight away. My phone flagged it as possibly fraudulent, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

They rang me today but I didn’t pick up. Lately, I’ve been gettin a bunch of weird calls from abroad, they just ring once then hang up (started happening after I made a complaint to PlayStation). This number gave me a ring on my home phone yesterday. The person asked how I was, and I just told them I was busy and asked the same. They hung up straight away. They called the landline again this morning, but I wasn’t in so I missed it, and didn’t get a voicemail or anything. Then they tried me on my mobile while I was driving, so I didn’t pick up. Gotta give them credit for sticking with it, fair play!

I got a call on our business number from 0208 049 5775. The chap on the other end was quite articulate and claimed they were referred to us by HMRC concerning CPC for export shipping. He certainly sounded credible and spoke with confidence, but in reality, it was a load of nonsense.

Scam calls for sure. When you pick up and there’s silence, don’t say ‘hello’ coz they’re probably trapping your voice with some kind of voice ID tech.
