these people won't stop ringing and i never pick up so i just went ahead and blocked the number now

this very polite woman claimed she was conducting a government survey about funding for manufacturing companies. she asked if i'd take part and answer quite a few questions. i told her we weren't after any funding and didn't want to answer any questions. then the call was finished. given what she said, it seems likely a scam to me. some folks prey on people's hopes for easy money.
