Got a call from someone saying they were O2 trying to give me a special discount. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

I received a call from someone purporting to be O2, promising a 20% discount. However, they insisted they couldn't provide any details about my account unless I shared a one-time security code. I received said code shortly after, and the accompanying message explicitly warned against sharing this code, even with O2 representatives. Quite perplexing, to say the least!

So I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and the person didn’t say who they were at all. No clue who it could be.
