Got a call from 02080280890, some bloke with an Asian accent speaking to my missus, saying her computer had some sort of issue. I grabbed the phone and started chatting rubbish in nonsense language just to wind him up. He got irritated quick, so I called him out as a scammer and a cheat. He snapped back with a nasty insult, then cut the call. Total con job, beware!

Got a call from 02080280890 around 11 this morning, some Asian woman claiming she was Microsoft Support or something like that. I didn’t say a word, just listened, then she started shouting my name over and over, getting louder every time. Definitely a scam or phishing attempt - legit Microsoft would never ring you out of the blue like that. I hung up and blocked the number straight away. Bet they’ll try a different number next and do the same thing again. No worries, I’ll block that one as well and the whole annoying loop will keep going on.

This number rang me up earlier today. For some reason, I get calls from dodgy people around 8.45 in the morning quite a lot, so I was ready! I picked up, but there was no one on the other end. I used the 1471 code to see who it was. Bit of a pity I couldn’t have a chat though - I was feeling cheeky and wanted to mess about with them for a bit ;)

I had the same experience, these lot try to trick you into letting them take over your computer remotely. Don’t ever give them permission! They’ll swipe your bank info and clean you out.
