7.20 in the morning today - are you kidding me?! Then they ring me again later on my mobile. What’s the deal with people pretending to be English by using our names when you can tell they’re overseas? No respect or common decency at all. I’ve had it with these rude people. Today I got a call from a number finishing in 0103, and the caller used my old surname. I told them that wasn’t me, and they asked if I was related, I said no. When I asked who they were, they just wouldn’t answer and then hung up on me.

I always let the answerphone pick up any calls, whoever’s ringing. Anyone who knows me, like family, friends, or work, usually says who’s calling. If I’m around, I pick up, but if not, I listen to their message and ring back later. For those unknown numbers, I usually check them with 1471 first, then block if needed.

Got a call from an Asian bloke, but I couldn’t make out what he was on about. I told him we only deal with GPs and asked to be taken off any lists. He said something back, but I couldn’t understand a word ‘cause there was loads of noise in the background. He kept repeating some stuff that gave me a weird vibe, like he was some kind of creep talking about… allegiance or something? Plus, he mentioned being turned down by a woman, which honestly freaked me out.
