Got a call on my phone, and when I swiped to pick up, it looked like I was the one who called this number. I ended up losing loads of credit from my pay-as-you-go balance. I rang Vodafone, and they said it was a premium number. Back in June, Vodafone promised to block all premium number calls from my phone, but I’m still getting calls from this number. They won’t refund the credit I lost, which is really frustrating.

Whenever this sort of number comes up on my phone, my call blocking app promptly flags it as 'likely a scam,' so I simply ignore it.

I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly. Usually, it’s just an automated voice, but today I actually spoke to someone. She claimed I'd been in a car accident, which is utterly ridiculous. When I inquired how they managed to get my details and requested to be taken off their list, she abruptly hung up on me. The voice sounded like that of an older lady, if I’m honest. It seems this could be another dubious phone call. I received a test call labelled as Horizon Business, which was redirected through... I decided to terminate the call at that moment, as I didn't want to risk being charged for a premium rate call. Since it's not a premium line, I’ll be reporting this to Ofcom should I find any unexpected charges that aren't covered by my inclusive minutes. It’s rather suspicious that someone is peddling these numbers to such unscrupulous callers. BT perhaps? I intend to lodge a complaint with Ofcom regarding their practice of assigning London numbers to overseas callers. Best to avoid answering and block these numbers if you can.
