They said it was the police and I’d be in trouble if I didn’t answer. Then this robotic voice told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I pressed it right away and got through straight away. Received a call on my phone, the caller ID displayed London. They didn't bother to leave a voicemail, which gives it a dodgy vibe. I currently reside in Australia and have never set foot in the UK, so it’s all a bit suspicious.

Received a call claiming to be from the Central London Court regarding appointments. I don't reside in London, nor do I have any clue about this matter. Sounds dodgy to me; I reckon a court would send a formal letter first. Definitely marking this one as a scam!

Received a call with a UK area code, which was rather peculiar. An automated voice claimed to be from Amazon UK, but then the line went silent, leaving me hanging. As I’m currently residing in Australia, I saw no point in returning the call. Quite strange, really!

I got a call from 02079477502 telling me I was going to be arrested for some unpaid taxes unless I sorted the bill right away. They also said they were going to cancel my National Insurance Number, which sounded really dodgy to me.

This number just called me, and when I answered, the person on the line didn’t speak English very well. Instead of explaining anything properly, they just laughed at me because I refused to share my details or name. When I said they’d need to be more convincing since they can’t get my national insurance, they suddenly got really rude and hostile. I’ve now contacted the courts via email to report what happened.
