Hey everyone, just wanted to share that I got a call from these people today, 19/09/16. I answered and there was this young girl on the line, but I couldn’t catch what she was saying properly. I asked her to repeat who she was, but then I just ended the call. Bit odd, right? If they were trying to sell something, you’d think they’d keep pushing or at least explain, but no. I’ve done sales myself before, and you gotta stay positive and not just give up. Hanging up like that just left me with a bad impression of their company, so I’ve blocked the number now. I received a call from someone with a noticeable foreign accent claiming to be from Windows support after quite a wait. Earlier this week, I fell victim to a scam involving Microsoft Corporation, which resulted in £290 disappearing from my bank account. Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, said they were based in Reading. They told me my computer’s been hacked or something. When I asked how they knew that, the bloke got really pushy and asked if I was the primary user of the computer. I told him to watch his tone, and next thing, he shouted some horrible name at me and just ended the call. Bit shocking, to say the least.
