Got the exact same call as loads of others. I had a chat with someone called Julie Smith, but it felt like a bot answering depending on what I said. Proper annoying, that.

They've been ringing me nonstop for ages now even though I’m on the TPS list. It’s one of those dodgy car crash scams and honestly, they should be put out of business. They call from 02079500772. The scammer behind this is a director named MONIKA KUBIANKA, based at 72 Oaklands Grove, London W12 0JB. Born November 1977, Polish nationality. The caller ID says SIGMA ADVICE - definitely a scam!

Some woman called, Julie or something from Sigma, about an accident they said I was at fault for. Ive never been in a crash before, so not sure what she was on about. When I asked a bit more, the call just dropped. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some place named Sigma - a woman called Julie said: "I think you were involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault." I said, "Oh no, thats awful, hope I’m alright. Who was to blame?" Then Julie just ended the call. What kind of scummy trick is this??

Sounds like a classic fishing scam. When they say "I heard you had an accident," just reply with "If you really know, then tell me my name." They usually drop the call straight away :-)

It only rang a couple of times so I didn’t pick up. I think it’s quite clever how these robocalls only ring briefly, usually 2 or 3 times. I always look up the number online first. If it’s important, they’ll either leave a voicemail or try calling you again. Thanks to the info here, I’ve now blocked that number.

The number was unfamiliar so I didn’t pick up. Had a look here and saw some reviews. It’s saved under blocked numbers now, seems a bit sketchy so best avoid.

Got a call from someone saying they were from some company called 'Sigma' or something similar. They asked me about an accident I had a few years back. Sounded like an autodialler 'cos I ended up speaking to two reps at the same time. Then they passed me on to a 'Supervisor'. When I told him about the crash (which had a horse, a bridge, and about a foot of string involved), he just hung up on me.

This number has rung me loads of times, I’m pretty sure it’s just some cold caller so I don’t pick up anymore. It’s really annoying and feels like harassment. I assumed the officials would’ve sorted this out by now. Loads of others have also left comments about it, so surely it wouldn’t be hard for them to get fined or something!

Got a weird call the other day, and when I asked the lady what company she was with, she just repeated the same script word for word about four times. Feels like it wasn’t a real person at all, probably just a recorded message with some rehearsed replies for simple questions. Definitely felt fishy.

Try recording the call using free call recorder apps and chuck the clips up on YouTube, you might even earn a bit from ads. I faked an accident once, got passed to someone else, I then done a dodgy accent and acted like the connection was rubbish, kept breaking up. Properly annoyed them when they couldn't get any info from me. Still kept my cool tho :)

This caller was trying to chat about some "accident" I'd supposedly had recently. I asked how on earth they got my info, and they actually claimed it was from HOSPITAL RECORDS!!! Ridiculous. Sigma advice calling here. There was a weird robotic kid voice sayin I’d had some kind of accident. No company like that’s real and it was clearly automated. Don’t ever share any personal info with these idiots. They must get your number from sites like compare the market or compare car insurance, who sell your details. It starts off with a robotic voice asking questions where you’re meant to reply. Sounds pretty genuine at first but you soon realise it’s just a recording. If you agree, it connects you to someone pretending to be a ‘manager’. This person then starts asking about an accident you supposedly had recently. It’s quite funny if you decide to humour them, but things quickly turn nasty once they figure out you’re not falling for their trick and have been messing about.

I just ignored the call and put the number on my block list. Later, I attempted to ring it back using my work phone but got told the number wasn’t active anymore.

Got a missed call from a couple of numbers like this one today. Tried ringing back but couldn’t get through. I’m going to block them both now!
