Tell them straight to take your info off their list and not to bother calling again. These firms often buy info from other businesses that sell to third parties. A single phone number is worth quite a lot, so they snap up hundreds hoping to make a profit. That’s how they get your address too, which is why we end up with spam letters, parcels and calls. If only 1 in 10 have actually had an accident, maybe they make a sale then. They’re just trying to earn their keep, so just ask to have your details deleted.
