Best not to pick up. The line was awful, really hard to listen to at first, so I assumed it was someone legit. Then there was this awkward silence followed by 'When did the crash happen?' Realised straight away it was a scam. I just told them to remove my contact and ended the call. I’m so fed up with constantly having to block these numbers. Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent talking about a car crash. I told her I knew what to do and then she just ended the call. Blocked the number after that.

The moment I spotted the 020 7946 number, I knew it was probably one of those annoying scam calls, so I just let it ring out to voicemail. Of course, no message was left, so my gut feeling was right. Anyone with a real reason to call would leave a message. I’d suggest getting an caller ID app and either ignore these calls or just block them outright. If it's on your mobile, you should be able to add the number to a block list. I’ve got about 6 different numbers beginning with 020 7946 in mine already.
