Got a call from someone asking if I’d recently had an accident. I told them my sister died in one, but I’d already given my info to the insurance lot to sort everything out. The woman then said she’d transfer me to her supervisor, which made me think they might be sorry or something. Instead, the bloke came on and told me I’d been referred because I’d supposedly had an accident within three months. I asked if the initial caller was a robot, he said no, so I repeated the whole story again, and then he just ended the call on me.

I might be a bit suspicious, but it seems a bit fishy that right after I gave my phone number to the AA when my car broke down and I was waiting for their guy, I started getting calls from this number. I've always been pretty careful about sharing my mobile, and for ages I never got calls like this. Now, they’re coming in all the time, which is really annoying. At least I’ve blocked the number now!
