Got another one of those useless calls, its about time someone figured out how to block these annoying things. The other day I got a call from Sky, so I acted like a daft old woman. The lady on the phone was surprisingly polite, thinking she was dealing with some grumpy pensioner, but she didnt back down. I kept her chatting for a good 15 minutes, then told her my landlord forbids satellite dishes. Couple hours later, would you believe it, Sky ringing me again. Typical!

Had a crash in past 3 years? Need car insurance? Chances are you do, and that’s all they keep asking. To put an end to this CONSTANT irritation, my mother in law got one of those BT 6500 phones that blocks spam calls automatically. Since then, the number of calls from strangers has dropped loads. Those TPS things are pretty useless anyway, these muppets always find a way past. Honestly, best £40 spent ever. Peace of mind is priceless!

If you don’t pick up, they ring you again after a few hours but from another number. It’s got the same area code, but the last few numbers are different.
