Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent talking about a car crash - just hung up and blocked her.

I just don’t pick up now. I block any number that looks close to this one, usually just a digit or two different, but it's always the same story. Sometimes they drop a silent voicemail. I’m on the TPS so it’s really frustrating and a bit scary that businesses are able to get my info and bother me about crashes I’ve never been involved in since I don’t even drive or have a car. Plus, when I asked a caller to confirm my name, they got nervous and just hung up.

Total disaster calls. It’s not even an actual person, just a bot at first. If you hang around or say yes, they connect you to a real person. Honestly, your best bet is to just block the number! They’re probably having a laugh if you try telling a bot you don’t want anything!
