Received two calls this evening, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up. I tried returning the call and they claimed to be from an alarm company, supposedly following up on a triggered alarm. However, they soon made themselves scarce the moment I mentioned that we don’t have any alarm systems, nor do I know of anyone who does. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I picked up the phone and they just hung up. This number has rung me loads of times but this was the first time I managed to actually answer.

This number rang me earlier but I missed it. I’ve had calls like this before with London area codes, and as I don’t know anyone with a landline there, I just ignore them. But like others have said, after these calls hit the mobile, the landline gets spammed soon after. When you try to ring back, the number’s dead. I checked with BT and SKY after getting nearly 45 calls in three days a while ago. After a tonne of investigating and pushing past the people who say “that can’t be right”, it’s clear these are just scam calls.
