I keep receiving calls from these numbers, so what I do is let them talk for a bit and say my computer is on, even though it’s not. After about 10 minutes, I tell them I’m a cop looking into scam calls. They usually claim they’re from Microsoft, but once I mention the police are involved, they never ring again.

Got a call from someone called Mitchells Counsel Experts, or something like that, saying they’d heard from the “Road Traffic Accidents” team that I’d been in an accident. They said the info was from police and insurers. I haven’t had any accident at all. I’ve blocked the number now.

I keep receiving calls from a number beginning with 0207 946 19. Every time I pick up, they just put the phone down, so I reckon it’s some kind of auto dialler randomly generating phone numbers. I keep blocking the calls, but because the last couple of digits change, the new calls still get through. It’s really getting on my nerves, and I have no clue how they got my number. I guess if their caller ID is auto generated, maybe my number got caught in that net too.

Some real nasty, miserable cow rang me up, knowing more about my crash on the road than I do myself. I humoured her, obviously. There I was, going along the M62 when two big lorries trapped me. My brand new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, barely two days old, got totally wrecked, along with a bunch of classic Ferraris and Aston Martins right behind me. I asked her how much she reckoned I could claim, and she just rudely cut me off. What about my Lamborghini, eh?!

When I get calls like this, I usually just pretend and keep going for as long as I can. My story is always that I spilled a drink, like a tin of cola, on the front seat. They’re trying to waste my time, so I might as well return the favour a bit.

Same thing happened to me - she said something about an accident and kept asking how she got my number, which car’s reg it was, and what my address was. She didn’t really give clear answers though, just mentioned somewhere in London (Gloucester Road, either W2 or E2, can’t quite recall) before suddenly hanging up. Obviously, I didn’t share any details. Tried ringing her back but the number just wouldn’t connect.
