Looks like a fake accident claim scam to me.

They keep ringing me at all sorts of times, no one talks and they never drop a message.

I'm absolutely tired of receiving calls from this number, as nobody in our home has been involved in any accidents whatsoever. It's high time these companies are brought to light and reported!

No idea who that was, don’t really care either, just blocked them.

Bit rude, innit?

I've been getting loads of calls from this number and ones that look pretty much the same. They're all telemarketers and keep ringing until I block the new number they're using. The TPS should really let you update your info so these calls stop even after you sign up. It's honestly so annoying.

There was a pause after I picked up. It sounded like a recorded voice, then they just cut the call.

I received a call from this number, but I decided not to pick up.

Apparently, I've been in an accident that isn’t my fault according to their records. Complete rubbish if you ask me. I told them off and ended the call. I'm on the TPS list. The voice was definitely British, not Indian like some have said. Might have been taped cause I didn’t answer properly.

Scammers just won't pick up cos they want your bank info, and i've never had ppi so that's complete rubbish.

Picked up and said hi. There was that awkward silence for a moment, then a lady with quite a pleasant voice replied. Still, not quite friendly. I've learned those long gaps at the start of calls usually mean trouble!

This is a total joke, why isnt the TPS sorting this out? I get calls every week, all coming from India. Honestly, the phone providers should be cracking down on this too.

Got a call from someone called "Richard," claiming to be from "Microsoft," talking about my computer. The guy had a really thick Indian accent. When I called him out for being a scammer, he started yelling. Then he rang me back to ask why I hung up on him! He called a third time but this time I just let it go to voicemail.

got a call again from this number claiming to be "Microsoft". I normally ignore these, but decided to listen this time. They were saying my computer had been hacked (a bit funny, really) and I needed to turn it on. I told them my husband works in internet security and can handle any issues - the bloke actually yelled "No he doesn’t!" at me. That’s when I hung up.

Someone called asking if I’d been in an accident, then just hung up as soon as I said no! Tried to call them back to get my details removed but you can’t actually get through. They’ve called me four times this week, always a woman on the line. I’ve had my driving licence for 20 years and never even had a single accident!!

Some lady rang me sayin I’d just had an accident. No idea where she pulled that from cause I’ve not been in any accident at all. When I questioned her about how she got my phone number, there was this weird quiet moment and then she just hung up. Seems a bit odd, doesn’t it?

Just got a call from the classic Microsoft Windows con. She wanted me to switch on my PC and check my keyboard. I said I don’t actually have a keyboard. She got quiet. Kept saying “Look at your keyboard”. I explained again it’s a tablet so no keyboard. “So no computer then?” Nah, just the tablet. Then she ended the call. Bet I’ll get another 0207 number ringing me soon enough.

That's genuinely useful information! Not entirely convinced my own phone number was quite as "clever," but I’ll certainly keep it in mind for future references, considering these individuals show up quite a bit on these platforms. Thanks a lot!

These individuals keep calling us, yet we haven't been able to answer their calls since I'm hard of hearing.

The phone rang, and when I picked it up, a woman’s voice came through. It honestly felt as if she was merely reading from a script, as if nothing she said was spontaneous. I asked her about a recent car crash, but it was just so mechanical, so scripted. In the end, we decided to hang up rather than continue with the conversation.
10 years
We answered the call, and all we got was someone saying "hello" repeatedly-about ten times! In the end, we simply hung up. The accent wasn't English, so it seems like it’s just some sort of scam or prank call.
