No idea who these callers are, and since only a handful of people have my mobile (I’m talking less than 30), it’s definitely not someone I recognise. If it was, they’d know better than to ring me - and they’d have a proper reason for it. I’ve got my phone provider on record not to share my number publicly, so clearly this is just some random number-digger. Totally feels like a scam, just after cash one way or another. Just blocked and deleted the call without even bothering to answer.

It came across as a proper robot voice to me, and it seemed like if you said anything other than ‘yes’ about the traffic crash question, it just hangs up. But knowing these things can be dodgy, I asked, "Where exactly did you get that info from?" and then they just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

It sounded like a robotic setup with pre-recorded bits, I guess they’re using some sort of voice recognition tech. They told me they thought I’d had a car crash, when I said no, they quickly said sorry, like they’d got the wrong person. From what I’m seeing here, it’s obvious they’re cold calling.
