These comments are great, loads of folks don’t even catch it’s a recording. Haha. Yeah, it’s just another rubbish phone call about some accident. I’ve only started getting them since mine, and the only ones I gave this number to were the police! I really like the idea someone had about wasting their time when it’s a real person on the other end, not a recording.

Just like the person above mentioned, they seem to ring from lots of nearly identical numbers. For me, I also got calls from 02079461912 and 02079461913. Turns out it's a PPI Claims outfit operating out of London. Best to just block and ignore them.

It's ridiculous, I asked them to take my number off their list, but all I got was another robotic reply saying "ok, one moment," then the call just gets cut off.

Got a call from an Indian bloke calling himself Jason, claiming he was from Microsoft and needed to fix some settings on my laptop remotely. I told him straight I don’t own a laptop. He kept insisting that everyone’s got one so I must have one. I stuck to my guns and said no, and then the line just went dead, no farewell or nothing. Definitely a dodgy call. Don’t hand over any personal details to these people.

Yet another annoying ambulance chaser calling! She said, "I heard you was in a crash." Sounded exactly like the others who have called before, just with another name. Then she passed me on to a bloke who asked me to state the exact date of the accident. I told him, "If you know I had an accident in the past year, surely you can tell me when it was." He said he just wanted to confirm the date, so I said, "Your firm is calling me out of the blue to say I had an accident in the past year, so it makes sense that you'd know the exact date, right?" After that, he just cut the call.
