Got loads of calls from various numbers starting with 0207 946 18XX - total nuisance.

I've had multiple calls from this number and others like 020 7946 1xxxx. It’s some kind of automated bot claiming I was in an accident. You can mess around with it for a little while but it soon stops making sense and ends the call. When I pretended to go along and got put through to a person, I asked them to take me off their list and they just cut me off.

Got a call saying I’d been in an accident but it wasn’t my fault - told them I hadn’t had any accident at all - they just cut me off straight away - really cheeky - blocked the number now.

They called me asking about an accident I supposedly had that wasn’t my fault. I told them I’ve had plenty of accidents and, honestly, I can say all were my own doing. She got annoyed and hung up. Even tho it was a bit amusing, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

No missed call showed up in my call history, but I got a text from them saying "Missed call: this person/number called at 18:33 on 30th May but left no message." The format was different from my normal missed call alerts, so I didn’t ring back right away. Decided to check here first, and good thing I did - loads of scammers about these days!

Just block all numbers starting with 0207946XXXX using apps like t####er or Mr Number. They’ll just keep ringing from different numbers in that range otherwise.

They said they were from National Accident Helpline, so I asked them for their office address. They said something like WC1 and then put me through to a manager. When I asked the manager for the full company name and address if he was serious about "Doing Business," there was silence and then they just ended the call. Definitely a SCAM number.

Got a call saying I was involved in a car crash and it wasn’t my fault, but I’m pretty sure I haven’t been in any accident. I asked if they knew my name, thinking they must if they had that info, but the woman couldn’t tell me. Then she passed me to her manager, so I asked him what name they had for me on their records. He didn’t answer and just ended the call. These calls should really be banned.

I got a call on this number about some car crash. There were long pauses between when I talked and the woman’s voice answering; it felt like it was some kind of robot. When I asked them to take me off their list, it started making a weird buzzing noise and then just cut off.
