Muppets. I get way more of these sketchy calls than from actual people I know (family, mates and so on), so I’ve stopped picking up altogether - just let the voicemail catch it, then look 'em up here for dodgy scammers and block 'em. These days, any weird number goes straight to voicemail. Maybe one day I’ll answer and mess with them a bit - see if they can handle it as much as they dish it out. Boom, mic dropped. :)

Just like everyone else - a friend of mine got asked about a car crash he wasn’t involved in and he said, "Well, honestly, it’s not clear yet. The bloke stepped out in front of me but I think I might’ve hit him. Still waiting on the cops to show up." Needless to say, they ended the call sharpish!!!
