Got a call tonight from a woman who mentioned she was ringing on behalf of Smith Klein. She said she believed I’d been in a car crash recently. I’ve been driving for over four decades and only had two minor accidents, the last one more than 15 years back. I told her I’m on the telephone preference service and that their details about me were wrong, which surely breaks the Data Protection rules. After that, she just ended the call!
