I got a call from 02077248153, a lady with a really strong Indian accent saying she was calling on behalf of British Telecom. She insisted my router required an update and asked me to hit Control plus the Windows key to type in a certain web address. I mentioned I wasn’t a BT customer, but she kept saying BT manages every broadband provider. I explained my internet is fibre optic and not connected to BT at all. After messing around with her for about eleven minutes, she just ended the call.
