It’s definitely not the hospital's main line - I checked and called that to figure out what was going on. And it’s not a main ward number either, since they'd have picked up if it was. These trolley or patient phones only get plugged in at certain times so patients or doctors can make calls, and with all the pandemic hassle, who knows what state those phones are in when they’re not in use.

It’s a genuine call from the N.H.S. PAH Harlow Hospital for last minute appointment bookings. If you ring them back, you probably won’t get through. But you can search the number online to see who called and then contact the hospital reception directly. My GP always has their number hidden which is pointless because you can’t tell if it’s a telemarketer or something important.

It seems this is not an official BT number, likely linked to World Com, and it doesn't allow incoming calls.
